I stayed here for a quick getaway and found it to be a cozy spot. The room was clean and tidy, equipped with all the essentials like a toaster and kettle. The welcoming couple who run the place went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, providing an extra blanket when needed. The location was convenient if you have your own car, and the on-site BBQ facilities were a great bonus.

I recommend this hotel.

Triple room I stayed at was well laid out with comfy bed. The hotel was set in a very central area near central area, most facilities in the town and good cafes.

Their staff were not so helpful.

The service was welcoming, always with a smile.

The employees were very very helpful and really helpful. The room was good sized, modern with second bed and the overall experience was fairly nice. I had a microwave oven, an electric kettle, and a refrigerator.

After a long drive, the outdoor pool felt like an oasis in the desert. Diving in was as refreshing as a popsicle on a scorching summer day! Laughter echoed as kids splashed around, and the communal barbecue area turned into a feast fit for royalty-if royalty loved sausages and charred veggie skewers, that is!

I also appreciated the central location, as it was conveniently close to the pub, club, supermarket, and various restaurants in the heart of town.

The room at Major Mitchell Motel was clean and tidy. The location was convenient, especially if you have your own transport. The staff were friendly and accommodating, willing to change my room when there was a mix-up. BBQ facilities were available on-site, a nice bonus. The bed was comfortable and the towels provided were good. The Chinese restaurant at the nearby Bowling Club was a great dining option. I had a satisfactory stay.

I loved the cozy bed in the room and found it really comfortable; it's in a great spot near some nice cafes and close to both the town center, river, and Police station.
